Signs You May Need Emergency Dental Care

- Severe Pain – this is a sign of infection that may require antibiotics as well as pain relief medication

- Accident – an injury to your mouth/jaw should be seen immediately

- Cracked or Chipped Tooth - it may not seem serious, but ignoring a small crack or chip in your tooth can create larger dental issues

- Lost Tooth – assuming it was a permanent tooth, there’s a possibility the tooth could be saved if seen in time.

- Excessive bleeding - this may be due to gum disease, an accident or any number of other causes

- Pus or Infection – this type of infection could actually spread if ignored

I had an amazing experience at Modern Dentistry in West Roxbury! I was really nervous about getting a root canal, but Dr. Edriss and Monika were so incredibly patient and informative throughout the entire process. Dr. Edriss made sure I was comfortable and was incredibly gentle, which really helped ease my anxiety. Monika was also fantastic, walking me through every step and answering all my questions. My tooth feels so much better now, and I can't believe how smooth the whole experience was. I never thought I'd say this about a root canal, but it was actually a pleasant visit. Highly recommend this practice!
